Prokudin-Gorsky Color Photos

The link below is a very interesting story about full color photographs that were made in the early 1900's in Russia by Prokudin-Gorsky. He developed a process where he could take 3 monochrome photos with different filters, then using a specially colored light project the three images together to get the final color photo.
